WMF&G members at the 2012 Sportsman Show Augusta, Maine.
The Western Maine Fish and Game Club was incorporated in the early 1990s. For the 1st two years the club members met at the Community Room in the Harrison Fire Department before aquiring property on Route #117 from the Town of Harrison. 15-20 founding members worked deligently to clear the property with the help of the Army Corp of Engineers. A 12' x 60' used moble home was donated and brought to the site to be used for a temporary club house. (Which is still being used today). We now have a 100 yard rifle range, a 20 yard pistal range and a trap range complete with a new trap machine purchased in 2011.
One of the groups who take advantage of the range is the Bridgton Academy students every spring and fall. We teach them safe gun handling and trap shooting.
